Hello everyone, this is our second time participating in the GMTK Jam. The product is unfinished and missing some polish but we managed to finish the main mechanics. Hope you enjoy!

Scale Zero:

  • A Turn-based Rogue-Like Strategy game, where if you get scaled by 0, you lose!

How To Play:

  • Choose cards to scale your player cube
  • Aim and move to shoot enemy cubes
  • Yellow paths show where enemies are moving
  • Red paths show where enemies are aiming
  • If you get scaled to zero on any axis, you lose!

Controls:

  • WASD to move
  • SPACE to move up
  • SHIFT to move down
  • M1 to Select/Aim
  • Mouse to Orbit Camera

I have trouble playing this game since the instructions are confusion and I am not able to figure out how to play it. Also, there is an error popped out at the end of the screen.

The soundtrack is nice and being able to choose your players size is a cool concept, however, the aiming is a bit confusing at first and It's hard to see where the enemy's projectiles are heading towards making it quite difficult to survive and unfortunately after playing for a bit on web you get an error that says "RunetimeError: memory access out of bound". Other than that, it would be nice for the game over screen to have a reset button and I'm confused about the purpose of a timer after shooting
